iTaste srls, with its legal headquarters in via Giacomo Leopardi 63 – 95127, Catania, Italy – provider of the services and activities available in the web site iTastestore.com, may use the personal data, voluntarily provided by the User, as per the laws in force: Article 13 of Italian Law 196/2003.
Users are invited to visit this page periodically, for information according to updated laws and regulations.
iTaste specifies that, while the use of personal data is necessary to execute the required services, Users are assured that the use of such data will not be used for profiling research, but solely to facilitate site management and the execution of orders, in compliance with the provisions of Legislative Decree 196/2003 and subsequent amendments and additions concerning the protection of personal data..
Personal data, voluntarily provided by the User, will not be communicated nor sold to a third party.
All necessary information required in order for credit card payments and transactions to be processed (credit/debit card number, expiry date, security code) will be sent to our bank (specifically Multisafepay.com or Paypal) and fraud-monitoring team for authentification, via encrypted protocol, without any third party interference. This information will never be seen or stored for any purpose by iTastes and focused on news and curiosities from the world of Food, Beverage and requests to receive invitations to participate in the sales and commercial proposals of the Site. Such sales and business proposals have a predetermined and limited duration, the start of which and the duration of which, the user will be notified through one or more newsletters. In this sense, and limited to purposes closely related to the provision of the requested service, the user therefore expresses his consent to the use of his personal data by iTastestore.com.
At any time, by clicking on the appropriate link at the bottom of each newsletter (“If you no longer want to receive our newsletter, click here”), the user can request not to receive any further invitations to participate in sales and proposals Website’s commercial activities. This change can also be made from the “My Profile” section under “Newsletter Subscriptions”.
If you have expressed a preference not to receive invitations to participate in the sales and business proposals of the Site, you will be able to participate in sales through direct access to the Site through your Registration Credentials.
In the case of a credit card payment, the basic information for the execution of the transaction (credit/debit card number, expiration date, security code) will be sent to the processing authority (in this case Multisafepay or Paypal), or possibly to companies responsible for controlling fraud, via encrypted protocol, without third parties being able, in any way, to have access to it. However, this information will never be displayed or stored by the Seller (I-TASTE srls).
iTaste takes appropriate security measures to minimize the risks of destruction or loss of data, unauthorized access or treatment that is not permitted or not in accordance with the collection purposes specified in our Privacy Policy.
However iTaste cannot guarantee its users that the measures taken for the security of the site and the transmission of data and information on the site can limit or exclude any risk of unauthorized access or dispersion of data by devices relevant to the user. For this reason, we suggest that site users ensure the computer that they are using has up-to-date security software and is connected to the internet through a reputable and trusted service provider.
iTaste srls informs its Users are protected by Article 7 of the Italian Law . 196/2003. Users have the right to request the following information from iTaste:
- the confirmation of the existence of personal data relative to the User
- the clear communication of the data together with their source
- the motives and the finality of their use
The request for the above information can be renewed with an interval of ninety days, except for the existence of justified motivations; the cancellation, the modification in anonymous format of all of the data in case of violation of laws, together with the data which is not used for the aims for which they were collected.
In order to make their services as much as possible efficient and simple to use the Website uses a technology called “cookies”, small data files that are stored on the user’s computer when the same access to the Site or portions of this; most cookies used by the Website are canceled at the end of your browsing session, and some of them, however, will take longer. the cookies are used for purposes strictly related to the provision of the requested service and help the owner to understand the trade preferences of the users in order to improve and facilitate the navigation of the site by the same: by way of example and not exhaustive, they are used for user authentication, for monitoring and saving sessions, for storing information on specific configurations concerning the user and for storing navigation preferences.
