Description
Dill Honey by Amodeo is produced by Sicilian Black Bees and has been a Slow Food Presidium since 2008, in pastures that vary depending on the year, in the Palermo, Agrigento and Trapani areas during the summer months.
Amber in color when liquid, crystallizing tends to brown.
Dill Honey is quite strong, with a slightly bitter aftertaste rich in mineral salts. This seems to have digestive and antispasmodic properties for the intestine but is also considered calming and antispasmodic (it reduces the excitability of the nervous system and the consequent spasmodic contractions of the muscles).
Format 250 gr.
Suggestions
Considering its flavor and aroma, it is excellent for sweetening herbal teas or infusions, to accompany hard or semi-hard cheeses, or simply spread on toasted bread
